Sunday 25th October saw the first fixture in this seasons Sportshall League series.
Somewhat reduced in numbers due to half term, the team is a good mixture once again of new and established athletes.
The results are available below.
There were so many excellent performances - too many to list them all - well done to you all
We must also offer our thanks to Linda for helping officiate; also to Lucy, Lili and Diana for helping Andrew, Cecil and Anna organise the kids on the day. All the events that we participate in are ran by volunteers; so if there are any others who are willing and able to help, please let us know.

A sunny day at Woodbank Park, Stockport welcomed the first Manchester Area Cross Country League fixture of the new season.
The first race brought an excellent team win for the U13 Boys team. Led home by Seb Patrick in 4th place, and supported by Joe Bentall (8th), Oliver Choi (9th), Tom Bentall (19th) and Max Clay (24th), this was Trafford AC's first win in this league for several years. In the U13 Girls race, Lauren Howley was 33rd and Katherine McMinn 42nd.
The next race was the U15 Boys where our team finished a close 3rd. Xav O'Hare was first counter in 6th place followed by Jack Wilkinson (10th) and Cynog Williams (24th). Anna Baker was unfortunate to injure herself in the U15 Girls race and was unable to finish.
The U17 Mens race saw a welcome return to form by Colin Daly who recorded an impressive 3rd place. Supported by Seamus Bradbury (9th) and Mac O'Malley (10th), the team finished 2nd.
This is one of Trafford AC's best starts to the winter season. Next Saturday will see many of them travel across to Yorkshire for the Northern Cross Country Relays at Graves Park, Sheffield.
