The third and final match in this years Greater Manchester Sportshall League series took place at Sportcity on 11th December.
Numbers were well down from every club, with most suffering with the flu virus.
u11b - consisted of 2 lads, who both enjoyed their day to the full.
u11g - A team of 4 girls, Imogen finished 3rd in Javelin and Zara 2nd in Veritical jump. Imogen, Taylor, Isabelle and Zara conbined to get a creadible 4th place finish and finished the day in 6th place overall.
u13b - Only Louis available, won Standing Triple Jump, 2nd in shot.
u13g - Finished 2nd overall. Ellina 4th in 4 Lap and vertical jump, 1st in Speed Bounce; Halle 2nd in 4 Lap, 2nd in Standing Long Jump and 3rd in Standing Triple Jump; Trezeguet 1st in 2 Lap, Standing Long Jump and Vetical Jump. Roselle, Halle, Ellina and Trezeguet combined to win the relay.
u15b - sadly none available
u15g - Boosted by a welcome return to competition by Roselyne, the girls finished 2nd overall. Issi 4th in Vertical Jump and 2nd in Standing Triple Jump; Tiffany 4th in Speed Bounce and 3rd in 4 Lap; Tasmin 3rd in STJ & SLJ and 2nd in 4 Lap; Charlie 3rd in Shot, 2nd in SLJ and 2 Lap. Charlie and Tasmin combined to finish 2nd in Parlouf.

Next up for Sportshall is the County Championships
This will be held at Sportscity on Sunday 22nd January 2017
Meet at 11:30 - first events at noon.
Medals are on offer for the first 3 in each event. We had a very successful Championship last year, the challenge, as always, is to better last year’s performance!
For u13’s & u15’s this competition also acts as the basis for selection of the Greater Manchester team for the Regional Finals.
You may enter any three events that you wish from the following
u11s 1 Lap, 3 Lap, Standing Long Jump, Vertical Jump, Speed Bounce, Javelin.
u13\u15s 2 Lap, 4 Lap or 6 Lap, Standing Long Jump, Standing Triple Jump, Vertical Jump, Shot, Speed Bounce.
There is a fee of £1.50 per event entered.
In addition to the above there will be 4x2 Lap relays for each age group - the coaches will select these based on entries and previous performances.
If you wish to compete, please let me know which events you'd like to do by 7th January
Club vests must be worn for this event; you will not be allowed to compete without a club vest.
