At the presentation ceremony, Wilson Kipsang (former World Marathon Record Holder) said to Xav, 'You must come back and win it next year.'
On Saturday at Sportcity, Xav duly obliged! Running against a class field, Xav recorded the best win of his career and still has next year left in this age group to return to defend his title. Supporting him was Jack Wilkinson, who finished 8th, and Owen Morgan who was 5th in the Under 11 race.
