The inaugural Manchester International took place at Sportcity on Wednesday 17th August. This saw England take on Scotland, Wales, a GB Under 20 team as well as teams representing UK Armed Forces and a British League invitation team.
In the buildup to the evening event, there was a competition for the youngsters with the added bonus of the relay finals been held during the main program in the evening.
Both Trafford Relay teams made it through to the finals with the lads finishing 3rd and the girls winning.
Naomi Ogbeta, representing GB u20's won a silver in the Triple Jump.
