Trafford AC took full teams in all male age groups to this final fixture in the relay season and achieved solid performances in each race.
All of the teams finished in the top half in their respective races.
The U20 team of Danny Lawton, Ben Everson and Nathan Townsend finished 26th out of the 65 teams which started. Despite recently being ill, Danny was the fastest of our athletes. Matt Sutton ran in an incomplete B team.
73 teams ran in the U17 race. Our team of Colin Daly, Mikey Kingston and Mac O'Malley finished in a creditable 35th place with Colin running our fastest lap.
Xav O'Hare had a very good run leading our U15 team to 38th place out of 89 teams. He was ably supported by Cynog Williams and Jack Wilkinson.
Finally, the U13 team of Seb Patrick, Alex Bailey and Tom Bentall finished in a promising 28th place out of 74 competing teams.
The next race is the Manchester Cross Country League at Sherdley Park, St Helen's on Saturday 7th November where we will be hoping for an excellent turnout to continue our previous good start to the league.
