Three more Wins!
Despite there being far too many athletes missing due to injury, prior commitments and reasons unknown, we still managed a good series of results.
Links to the results are below.
The highlights are as follows
u11g - Finished 5th - a depleted team still managed some fine performances - Isobel, in her first competition for Trafford won the 3 Lap; Orli was 2nd in the Speed Bounce and there was a fine win in the Obstacle Relay race.
u11b - Finished 5th - another depleted team - Jamall was outstanding with wins in 1 Lap, Standing Long Jump and Speed Bounce.

Emily was 2nd with a really gutsy performance in the 4 lap; Georgia was 1st in the Speed Bounce; Lily was 2nd in the Standing Triple Jump. Imojene was outstanding again with wins in 4 lap and standing Triple Jump and 2nd in the Vertical Jump. Emily and Lili finished 2nd in the Parlouf.
u15b - Finished 3rd. Only Josh and Joe. Joe won the 6 Lap and was 3rd in the Speed Bounce. Josh won the 4 lap and was 2nd in both the Shot and the Standing Triple Jump. They teamed up to finish 3rd in the Parlouf.
So three wins again - which is excellent.
Sportshall is a marvellous competition as it develops a great team spirit amongst the athletes, which is often hard to do in a sport so focussed on the individual performances. To keep the this team spirit strong we need to ensure a better turn out in the remaining fixtures. All the youngsters like to be part of a winning team, and we have a great opportunity to have successful teams in most of the age groups, if we can all try our best to attend. We were missing quite a few athletes at the last match.
It would also help the team managers if you could confirm your attendance at the next match - 8th December - as early as possible.
A special thanks to those who helped out officiate, Jacque, Gavin, Byron. It was also good to see senior athletes Chanelle, Lozzie and LeShai also helping.
