The first of this seasons Trafford Schools Cross country races took park at Longford Park on Saturday. It was a very successful day for Trafford AC athletes.
Performance of the day was Danielle McMinn who finished nearly a minute in front of the rest of the field in the year 7 race, were four out of the top five finishers where Trafford AC based athletes. Chorlton High School won team gold and silver in year 7 - with both teams exclusively filled with Trafford AC athletes.
The Boyle sisters kept up the good work for Trafford AC with Lili winning the year 8\9 race and Issi storming to a win in the year 5 race.
There were also lots of fine performances from the boys.
Well done and congratulations to all who took part, it was good to see the host club so dominant!
